What does The Curious Chef do?

We give you the Private Chef Experience by preparing and cooking for you, in your home or venue.

The Curious Chef is exclusive for you and your guests.

Our task is to bring the restaurant to the comfort and surroundings of your own home. All the shopping, preparation, serving, and clearing up is taken care of, so it's as simple as booking a table at your favourite restaurant, without the hassle of going out!

How does it work?

Select a date, time, venue of your choice, and the estimated number of guests.

Choose from our extensive menus, or create your own bespoke menu of your favourite dishes. Our help and guidance will be on-hand.

Once you have decided what you would like, we will create the menu and send you an estimate for the evening. A 20% deposit is required on confirmation of booking to secure your date. We will contact you prior to your event, to confirm all details.

On the day of your Private Chef Experience, The Curious Chef will arrive 1-2 hours prior to your dining time, with all of the food & ingredients. They will take over your kitchen, preparing, cooking, and serving your chosen menu. At the end of the meal, they will clear down and clean the kitchen, leaving it clean and tidy. We will use your Crockery, Cutlery and Cookware.

We ask that you lay the table ready for your guests, in the style you would like. Alternatively, there are local companies that offer this service of venue styling, including crockery, cutlery and glassware. If you would like details, please contact us.

The Curious Chef will serve your guests, but please feel free to assist in this part if you would like to. Alternatively, if you prefer, we can offer waiting staff at an extra cost.

We cater for all dietary requirements, as long as we have all the details in advance.
